Susanne’s background is in Contemporary Fine Art, and has worked for many years as an installation artist (See Artwork Pages). After developing an interest in diversifying materials Susanne started training as a jeweller/silversmith, where her passion for silversmithing was amplified, although the ethos of her work remains static the diversity comes with material and scale.
Through traditional techniques she creates contemporary sculptures/jewellery and has a minimalist aesthetic which connects to her art background in shape and form.

Architecture and travel have become very influential in her creative process, from the nuances of ancient quirky ruins to the sleek lines of minimalist architecture, and the connection of negative space.
